AS FEATURED IN

My Story:

I struggled through DIY-ing my first novel so you don’t have to.

I know first-hand how tough it is to write a book from start to finish, from editing to querying. And I love a challenge. Case in point: I recently finished my first half marathon. (But writing my first book? That was way harder.)

Just like training for a race means balancing strength training, protein-rich meals, and long endurance runs, writers similarly have to juggle plotting, outlining, research, character building, and drafting… as well as revisions upon revisions.

Trust me, it’s all so much easier with expert support.

Learning how to write my first book took years of researching various outlining methods. Years of parsing out how to write a scene with solid structure and enough action. Years of uncovering the best genre conventions and tropes for my story. And then a few more years of revising without a clear, prioritized roadmap for the revision process.

But once I figured out how to write my first book—and got support from my own editors—I wrote my second and third books in less than a year. Holding the polished books in my hand makes me feel deeply proud, accomplished, and thrilled to share my stories with others. That’s why I‘m here. To help writers feel this good about writing their books.
